Kingston Lacy - Out of House walks
Kingston Lacy are running an additional programme of walks to the Guided Walks detailed below. They are an opportunity to experience the park and estate, including areas not usually accessible, at a tranquil time before normal property opening times. They will be gentle strolls of about 3 miles, starting from the main KL car park. They are free walks - donations welcome - and open to non National Trust members. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
9.30am from main KL car park - Third Monday of each month. As usual, there is no walk in December.
Fun and friendly strolls with one of the Kingston Lacy volunteer walk leaders. Walks are free for all age groups -

Friday 5 October 2018 - Meet 10am at White Sheet car park (OS Explorer 118 & OL22 SU 048037)
Holt Heath walk - Distance 6 miles - Approx 3 hours.
Join our stroll on the ancient Holt Heath, one of Dorsets largest areas of unspoilt lowland heath land. Six species of Britain’s reptiles live on this unique habitat as well as rare bird species.
Friday 2 November 2018 - Meet 10am at Pamphill Green car park (OS Explorer 118 ST 990008)
Pamphill & Cowgrove walk - Distance 2.7 miles - Approx 2 hours.
A walk through the beautiful unspoilt areas of Pamphill and Cowgrove.
Friday 7 December 2018 - Meet 10am at Badbury Rings car park (OS Explorer 118 ST 960032)
Badbury Rings and Kings Down Drove walk - Distance 4 miles - Approx 2.5 hours.
This walk is an opportunity to discover some of the more fascinating aspects of the history and flora and fauna of the ancient Iron Age hill fort of Badbury Rings. Kings Drove has some fine views to the east.
