Kingston Lacy - Out of House walks
Kingston Lacy are running an additional programme of walks to the Guided Walks detailed below. They are an opportunity to experience the park and estate, including areas not usually accessible, at a tranquil time before normal property opening times. They will be gentle strolls of about 3 miles, starting from the main KL car park. They are free walks - donations welcome - and open to non National Trust members. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
9.30am from main KL car park - Third Monday of each month. As usual, there is no walk in December.
Fun and friendly strolls with one of the Kingston Lacy volunteer walk leaders. Walks are free for all age groups -

Friday 6 April 2018 - Meet 10am at Kingston Lacy car park (OS Explorer 118 ST 977014)
Parkland and Droves walk - Distance 4 miles - Approx 2.5 hours.
This walk will take you through the historic parkland and out on to our beautiful network of droves to see some of the Estate’s highlights, including Badbury Rings and the Beech Avenue.
Friday 4 May 2018 - Meet 10am at White Sheet car park (OS Explorer 118 & OL22 SU 048037)
Holt Forest walk - Distance 6 miles - Approx 3 hours.
A walk to Holt Forest to see the veteran trees and compare the environment with the heath.
Friday 1 June 2018 - Meet 10am at Badbury Rings car park (OS Explorer 118 ST 9960032)
Badbury Rings & Tarrant Rushton walk - Distance 7 miles - Approx 3-4 hours.
This walk goes through woods not normally accessible and covers history from Bronze Age, Iron Age, Romans and the Second World War.
